5: THE MYSTERY OF PRE-FLOOD GEOGRAPHY
THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF THE EARTH BEFORE THE GREAT FLOOD WAS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN IT IS TODAY. THE EARTH AT SOME TIME IN THE PAST WAS ONE SOLID LAND MASS IN THE FORM OF A SQUARE. THIS CAN BE EASILY SEEN WHEN LOOKING AT A WALL MAP. NOTICE HOW ALL OF THE CONTINENTS FIT TOGETHER LIKE A GIANT PUZZLE TO FORM A SQUARE. AFRICA FITS INTO THE POCKET BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND SOUTH AMERICA, GREENLAND PULLED DOWN FILLS IN THE AREA BETWEEN EUROPE AND CANADA, AUSTRALIA FILLS THE GAP UNDERNEATH INDIA. SOME OF THE LAND MASS AROUND THE EDGES OF THE CONTINENTS IS UNDERWATER NOW, AND DUE TO THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF EROSION DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE SQUARE ALONG THE EDGES, BUT IT WAS AT ONE TIME. GOD HIMSELF STILL REFERS TO THE EARTH AS A SQUARE, HAVING FOUR CORNERS, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A BROKEN APART SQUARE NOW. THIS IS WHY THE ANCIENTS THOUGHT THAT THE EARTH WAS FLAT, BECAUSE AT SOME TIME, LONG AGO, ALL OF THE LAND MASS OF THE EARTH WAS CONNECTED TOGETHER DIVIDED ONLY BY RIVERS, NOT VAST OCEANS. LOOK ON ANY WORLD MAP, AND SEE THIS FOR YOURSELF. Isaiah 11:12 KJV And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Revelation 7:1 KJV And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. AT LEAST TWO GREAT CATACLYSMS HAVE STRUCK THE EARTH SINCE ITS FORMATION. THE THIRD IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. THE EARTH AT SOME TIME IN THE PAST HAS ACTUALLY BEEN FLIPPED OVER ON ITS AXIS AT LEAST 1/4 OF A TURN, POSSIBLY A FULL TURN. THIS IS THE GREAT CATASTROPHE THAT DESTROYED THE PRE-ADAMIC WORLD. WE FIND THE EVIDENCE OF THIS TODAY IN THE POLAR REGIONS WHERE PREHISTORIC ANIMALS, MAMMOTHS, HAVE BEEN FOUND ENCASED IN ICE, WITH FOOD STILL IN THEIR MOUTHS AND STOMACH. WHEN THE EARTH WAS FLIPPED THE SINGLE SQUARE LAND MASS WAS BROKEN APART BY THE INERTIA AND GRAVITATIONAL FORCES, INTO CONTINENTS. AREAS THAT WERE BEFORE WARM AND TROPICAL WERE NOW LOCATED IN THE POLAR REGIONS, AND VICE VERSA. THE STORIES AND MYTHS THAT HAVE COME DOWN TO US ABOUT THE LOST CONTINENT OF ATLANTIS ARE NOT SO FAR FETCHED AS THEY MAY SEEM, WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE LAND MASSES OF THE EARTH HAVE BEEN MOVED OUT OF THEIR ORIGINAL PLACES. THIS WAS THE FIRST CATACLYSM. THE SECOND WAS THE GREAT FLOOD IN WHICH GOD FURTHER BROKE UP AND SEPARATED THE CONTINENTS, WHEN HE BROKE UP THE FOUNTAINS OF THE GREAT DEEP. Genesis 7:11 KJV In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Jasher 6:11 And on that day, the Lord caused the whole earth to shake, and the sun darkened, and the foundations of the whole world raged, and the whole earth was moved violently, and the lightning flasher, and the thunder roared, and all the fountains in the earth were broken up, such as was not known to the inhabitants before; A THIRD CATACLYSM WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE EVENTS PROPHESIED IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION ARE FULFILLED. GOD WILL AGAIN CAUSE THE EARTH TO BE MOVED OFF ITS AXIS. BY WHAT MEANS THIS WILL HAPPEN, WE DON'T KNOW. IT COULD BE BY A COLLISION WITH A LARGE ASTEROID, OR BY SOME OTHER MEANS. Isaiah 13:9-13 NIV See, the day of the LORD is coming; a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger. Isaiah 24:1 & 5-6 & 19-20 NIV See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth's inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, Revelation 16:17-21 NIV The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, "It is done!" Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. GREAT EARTHQUAKES WILL STRIKE THE EARTH WHEN THE SEVENTH BOWL IS POURED OUT. THE HUGE HAILSTONES COULD BE CHUNKS OF DEBRIS THROWN INTO THE AIR BY THE EARTHQUAKE, OR PERHAPS THEY WILL BE ACTUAL GIANT ICE CHUNKS THAT HAVE FORMED BECAUSE OF THE DRASTIC CHANGES TO THE EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE FROM THE PREVIOUS PLAGUES THESE THINGS WILL NOT HAPPEN UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST RESURRECTION HAS TAKEN PLACE SO IF HAVE FAITH IN CHRIST, AND DON'T TAKE THE MARK, YOU WON'T BE HERE WHEN IT HAPPENS. THERE IS NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IT. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WILL BE HERE WILL BE ANTICHRIST AND HIS FOLLOWERS, GOD WILL USE THIS CATACLYSM TO PREPARE THE EARTH FOR THE MILLENNIUM, CLEANING UP EVERYTHING AFTERWARDS. GOD MAY MOVE THE CONTINENTS BACK INTO THEIR ORIGINAL POSITIONS WITH THIS LAST CATACLYSM, SEPARATING THE LAND MASSES BY LARGE RIVERS AGAIN, RATHER THAN BY OCEANS. |
