Angels And Revelation Part Seven

(Acts 2:19-20 NIV)  I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

(2 Th 1:7 NCV)  And he will give rest to you who are troubled and to us also when the Lord Jesus appears with burning fire from heaven with his powerful angels.

The Rider On A White Horse

(Rev 19:11-15 NCV)  Then I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse. The rider on the horse is called Faithful and True, and he is right when he judges and makes war. His eyes are like burning fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him, which no one but himself knows. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, were following him on white horses. Out of the rider's mouth comes a sharp sword that he will use to defeat the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will crush out the wine in the winepress of the terrible anger of God the Almighty.

The book of Revelation opened with a rider on a white horse appearing at the opening of the first seal. That rider was an impersonator of the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, who also will return astride a white horse. As we have seen throughout this study, Satan always imitates the works of God, but his imitations are inferior and eventually crumble.

The Lord’s Garments Are Spattered With Blood As He Harvests The Wicked Like Grapes

(Joel 3:10-13 NIV)  Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, 'I am strong!' Come quickly, all you nations from every side, and assemble there. Bring down your warriors, O LORD! 'Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side. Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow-- so great is their wickedness!'

Isaiah 63:2-3 & 6 Why are your garments red, like those of one treading the winepress? "I have trodden the winepress alone; from the nations no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their blood spattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing. I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground."

Christ Is The Lord Of Lords And King Of Kings

(Rev 19:16 NCV)  On his robe and on his upper leg was written this name: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, to whom every knee shall bow, as the scriptures prophesy.

(Isa 45:23-24 NIV)  By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. They will say of me, 'In the LORD alone are righteousness and strength.'" All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.

(Rom 14:11 NIV)  It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'"

(Phil 2:9-11 NCV)  So God raised him to the highest place. God made his name greater than every other name so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus-- everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father.

The Return Of Jesus Christ To The Mount Of Olives

Apparently after defeating his enemies Christ will dismount and descend from the sky unto the Mount of Olives, fulfilling the prophecy that he would return to earth in the same manner as when he left.

Acts 1:10-12 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.  "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day's walk from the city.

The Mount Of Olives Will Split In Two When Jesus Feet Touch Down

(Zec 14:4-5 NCV)  On that day he will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives will split in two, forming a deep valley that runs east and west. Half the mountain will move toward the north, and half will move toward the south. You will run through this mountain valley to the other side, just as you ran from the earthquake when Uzziah was king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come and all the holy ones with him.

When the Lord touches down on the Mount of olives, all his holy one will be with him, saints and angels.

Christ Destroys His Enemies With A Horrible Plague

(Zec 14:12-15 NCV)  But the LORD will bring a terrible disease on the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh will rot away while they are still standing up. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. At that time the LORD will cause panic. Everybody will grab his neighbor, and they will attack each other. The people of Judah will fight in Jerusalem. And the wealth of the nations around them will be collected--much gold, silver, and clothes. A similar disease will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the animals in the camps.

The plague with which the enemies of the Lord are afflicted almost sounds like high intensity radiation exposure, but it would have to be similar to electrically generated rays that were not radioactive after the power was shut off, otherwise everything would be contaminated for hundreds of years.

The Angel Rejects Worship

(Rev 19:10 NCV)  Then I bowed down at the angel's feet to worship him, but he said to me, "Do not worship me! I am a servant like you and your brothers and sisters who have the message of Jesus. Worship God, because the message about Jesus is the spirit that gives all prophecy."

An Angel Calls The Birds To A Great Feast

(Rev 19:17-18 NCV)  Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he called with a loud voice to all the birds flying in the sky: "Come and gather together for the great feast of God so that you can eat the bodies of kings, generals, mighty people, horses and their riders, and the bodies of all people--free, slave, small, and great."

In one sense this is a fulfillment of the eating of leviathan after the return of Christ. Leviathan symbolized Antichrists kingdom and the power of his armies and the population he controlled. Now his kingdom is destroyed and the birds are eating in a spiritual sense, the flesh of leviathan.

God is going to make another great feast for the birds. Although we did not cover it in this study the birds feasted at the opening of the 2nd seal, during the wars of Antichrist almost seven years earlier. Ezekiel give us a description of God’s great feasts for the birds. The birds are going to have a great party, so great that God describes them as being drunk on the blood and glutted on the fat of mighty men.

(Ezek 39:17-20 NIV)  "Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Call out to every kind of bird and all the wild animals: 'Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood. You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls--all of them fattened animals from Bashan. At the sacrifice I am preparing for you, you will eat fat till you are glutted and drink blood till you are drunk. At my table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, mighty men and soldiers of every kind,' declares the Sovereign LORD.

Every year in the fall, the birds of prey from Europe and Russia migrate to Africa. At least seven hundred thousand of them fly over Israel each year. The feast of the tabernacles, which signifies the return of Christ, is celebrated in the September-October time frame, the same time of the year when the buzzards, the storks, and other large birds of prey fly over Israel. The saved will have celebrated with Christ in heaven at the marriage supper of the lamb and had a great feast. Now the Lord will provide a great supper for the birds, at the return of Jesus Christ.

(Ezek 39:21-26 NIV)  "I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay upon them. From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God. And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword. I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid my face from them. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name. They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid.

If there are still any Israelites who doubt that Jesus is the Messiah, they will doubt no more after the Lord destroys the armies of the world that have gathered in Israel.

(Ezek 39:27-29 NIV)  When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."

The Beast And The False Prophet Are Thrown Into The Lake Of Fire

(Rev 19:19-21 NCV)  Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth. Their armies were gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who did the miracles for the beast. The false prophet had used these miracles to trick those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his idol. The false prophet and the beast were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. And their armies were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds ate the bodies until they were full.

Over and over throughout this study we have pointed out how Satan has no concern for his followers and that even if he did he is unable to even help himself let alone them. The two human beings who followed Satan and were his most potent evildoers of all time, the Antichrist and the False Prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire and brimstone. If Satan can do nothing for his most staunch supporters, what can he possibly do for you if you are a follower of sorcery, magic, idol or goddess worship.

An Angel Binds Satan

(Rev 20:1-3 NCV)  I saw an angel coming down from heaven. He had the key to the bottomless pit and a large chain in his hand. The angel grabbed the dragon, that old snake who is the devil and Satan, and tied him up for a thousand years. Then he threw him into the bottomless pit, closed it, and locked it over him. The angel did this so he could not trick the people of the earth anymore until the thousand years were ended. After a thousand years he must be set free for a short time.

Satan fares somewhat better than the Antichrist and the False Prophet. He is only confined in a bottomless pit and will have a short release after the thousand years are completed. His protégés will never have even a moments release or respite from the lake of fire.

The Feast Of The Tabernacles

Deuteronomy 16:13 Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.

The feast of the tabernacles that God commanded the Israelites to celebrate was to take place after the harvest had been gathered and the grapes had been crushed in the winepress. In a spiritual sense, the harvest was the rapture and the gathering of the grapes into the winepress of the wrath of God was Armageddon, so now it is time for the celebration of the feast of the tabernacles.

Deuteronomy 16:14 & 15 Be joyful at your Feast--you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levites, the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns. For seven days celebrate the Feast to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose. For the LORD your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

Deuteronomy 14:24-26 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away), then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD your God will choose. Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.

It was to be a joyful feast celebrating the bountiful harvest that the Lord had given his people for all the work of their hands. It is comparable to our holiday called "Thanksgiving." All the people were to celebrate, even the servants.

(Eph 5:18 NKJV)  And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

On this special day they were even permitted to use wine and strong drink. The command still remains though not to get drunk with wine but the fact that alcohol use was permitted shows just how much God wanted them to be joyful and happy.

Leviticus 23:39 & 42 "So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest. Live in booths for seven days: All the native born Israelites are to live in booths."

The Feast of the Tabernacles is celebrated in the seventh Jewish month, which is in late September or early October on our calendar. The modern word for tabernacle or booth is tent. In the verse below the word "tent" is translated "tabernacle" in the King James Version.

2 Corinthians 5:1 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

During the Feast of the Tabernacles the Israelites were to camp outside, sleeping in tent like structures made from branches and stalks leftover from the harvest.

Nehemiah 8:13-17 On the second day of the month, the heads of all the families, along with the priests and the Levites, gathered around Ezra the scribe to give attention to the words of the Law. They found written in the Law, which the LORD had commanded through Moses, that the Israelites were to live in booths during the feast of the seventh month and that they should proclaim this word and spread it throughout their towns and in Jerusalem: "Go out into the hill country and bring back branches from olive and wild olive trees, and from myrtles, palms and shade trees, to make booths"--as it is written. So the people went out and brought back branches and built themselves booths on their own roofs, in their courtyards, in the courts of the house of God and in the square by the Water Gate and the one by the Gate of Ephraim. The whole company that had returned from exile built booths and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great.

The Feast of the Tabernacles is a prophetic picture of the time when God will make his dwelling place with men and it will be celebrated every year for a thousand years during the millennium.

Zechariah 14:16-19 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Lord Will Give Them Joy And Cleanse Them From Their Sins

(Zec 13:1-2 NCV)  "At that time a fountain will be open for David's descendants and for the people of Jerusalem to cleanse them of their sin and uncleanness." The LORD All-Powerful says, "At that time I will get rid of the names of the idols from the land; no one will remember them anymore. I will also remove the prophets and unclean spirits from the land.

Idols and idol worshippers, false prophets and demons will be removed from the land when Christ returns.

The first fulfillment of this feast was when God took on a tent or tabernacle of human flesh at the birth of Christ. Christ came the first time as a suffering servant. The next fulfillment will be when Christ returns to earth as the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings, and rules and reigns on the earth. The saved of all ages will live and reign with Christ for 1000 years.

2 Timothy 2:11-12 Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;

During The Millennium There Will A River From The Dead Sea To The Mediterranean Sea

(Zec 14:8 NCV)  At that time fresh water will flow from Jerusalem. Half of it will flow east to the Dead Sea, and half will flow west to the Mediterranean Sea. It will flow summer and winter.

When the Lord touches down on the mount of Olives and creates a great valley there a by product of that will be that fresh water will flow from Jerusalem into a river that connects the Dead Sea to The Mediterranean Sea. The Dead Sea will then be teeming with life. Creating a river or a canal from the Dead Sea to Mediterranean Sea has long been a goal of the Israeli government. The created river may be man made, but the fresh water will not fill it until Christ returns.

(Zec 14:9-11 NCV)  Then the LORD will be king over the whole world. At that time there will be only one LORD, and his name will be the only name. All the land south of Jerusalem from Geba to Rimmon will be turned into a plain. Jerusalem will be raised up, but it will stay in the same place. The city will reach from the Benjamin Gate and to the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses. People will live there, and it will never be destroyed again. Jerusalem will be safe.

The Saints Rule With Christ

(Rev 20:4-5 NCV)  Then I saw some thrones and people sitting on them who had been given the power to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been killed because they were faithful to the message of Jesus and the message from God. They had not worshiped the beast or his idol, and they had not received the mark of the beast on their foreheads or on their hands. They came back to life and ruled with Christ for a thousand years.

Those Who Arose At The Rapture Will Reign With Christ For A Thousand Years

(Rev 20:6 NCV)  Happy and holy are those who share in this first raising of the dead. The second death has no power over them. They will be priests for God and for Christ and will rule with him for a thousand years.

Notice that these are people who have been given power to judge. They are also given power to rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years during the millennium. This is us, my friends. Even those who are not martyred during the tribulation are promised some responsibility depending on how faithful they were in this life.

(Rev 20:4 NIV)  ...They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The placement of these verses in chapter twenty verse four concerning the first resurrection has caused confusion for some who study prophecy. This is not the first resurrection taking place after the return of Christ in a post millennial fashion, nor is it a special resurrection for the tribulation saints. John is explaining to us what the saints who were raised from the dead and those who were caught up alive to meet Christ in the air, will be doing during the millennium. The first resurrection that will occur at the sounding of the seventh trumpet is the only resurrection that will take place between now and the end of the one thousand year sabbath day.

The key thought here that John is conveying is that those who participate in the first resurrection will rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years. The fact that they were raised from the dead at the sounding of the seventh trumpet more than a year before is not his point. Don’t let the placement of these verses fool you into thinking that there is a rapture at the start of the tribulation and another one at the end of the tribulation, only seven years apart. There is no need for that when one views the scriptures correctly. There is only one rapture and it occurs at the sounding of the seventh trumpet.

It Pays Well In The Life To Come To Serve Christ In This Life

(Mat 19:28-29 NIV)  Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

(Luke 19:11-27 NCV)  As the people were listening to this, Jesus told them a story because he was near Jerusalem and they thought God's kingdom would appear immediately. He said: "A very important man went to a country far away to be made a king and then to return home. So he called ten of his servants and gave a coin to each servant. He said, 'Do business with this money until I get back.' But the people in the kingdom hated the man. So they sent a group to follow him and say, 'We don't want this man to be our king." "But the man became king. When he returned home, he said, 'Call those servants who have my money so I can know how much they earned with it.' "The first servant came and said, 'Sir, I earned ten coins with the one you gave me.' The king said to the servant, 'Excellent! You are a good servant. Since I can trust you with small things, I will let you rule over ten of my cities.' "The second servant said, 'Sir, I earned five coins with your one.' The king said to this servant, 'You can rule over five cities.' "Then another servant came in and said to the king, 'Sir, here is your coin which I wrapped in a piece of cloth and hid. I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You even take money that you didn't earn and gather food that you didn't plant.' Then the king said to the servant, 'I will condemn you by your own words, you evil servant. You knew that I am a hard man, taking money that I didn't earn and gathering food that I didn't plant. Why then didn't you put my money in the bank? Then when I came back, my money would have earned some interest.' "The king said to the men who were standing by, 'Take the coin away from this servant and give it to the servant who earned ten coins.' They said, 'But sir, that servant already has ten coins.'  The king said, 'Those who have will be given more, but those who do not have anything will have everything taken away from them. Now where are my enemies who didn't want me to be king? Bring them here and kill them before me.'"

The parable that Jesus told about the man of noble birth who gave his servants money to invest in his absence pertains to Christ, who returned to the right hand of the father and left the gospel in the hands of his servants. Those who are found faithful in using their gifts for the good of God's kingdom will be rewarded during the millennium.  They will receive the higher ranking positions in the Lords millennial kingdom.

It is important to use the gifts one has for God's purposes. The indication here is that faith without works is not real faith at all, and that those who are not using the gifts that they have been given are in danger of being numbered with the wicked.

(James 2:20 & 26 KJV)  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Better To Be A Menial Laborer In God’s Kingdom Than To Dwell In Hell With The Wicked

(Psa 84:10 NIV)  Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

It is better to be a doorkeeper in God's kingdom than to be cast into the lake of fire with the wicked. For this reason we all need to make sure that we are on the narrow path that leads to eternal life, and not the broad road that leads to destruction.

Some may not understand why god will have a millennium before eternity begins. The purpose of the millennium is to fulfill the promises he made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. God promised these men a literal kingdom on earth with one of their descendants sitting on a throne and ruling over the world. Christ will fulfill these promises when he rules the world from Jerusalem for a thousand years, and the patriarchs with him.

Isaiah 2:1-4 This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

When the millennium begins the people will do the reverse of what they did when they were preparing to fight with Christ at Armageddon. Now they will beat their swords into plowshares and there will be no more war for a thousand years. The prophet Micah also prophesied about this time period.

Micah 4:3-4 They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.

The phrase "under his own vine and fig tree" in the bible means that men will enjoy the fruits of their own labors.

(James 5:4 NIV)  Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.

The results of their work will not be stolen from them by thieves or taken from them by governments and taxes or by greedy owners or corporations like it was before Christ returned.

Isaiah 65:19-25 I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.  "Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth; he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.  No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the works of their hands. They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD, they and their descendants with them. Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD.

It appears that during the millennium the world will revert to an agricultural society. People will again live to great ages as they did before the flood. Mankind will be at peace with each other and with nature, as it was before Adam sinned.

(Mat 25:23 NIV)  "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

Satan Will Be Released For A Short Time After The Thousand Years Are Completed

(Rev 20:7-8 NCV)  When the thousand years are over, Satan will be set free from his prison. Then he will go out to trick the nations in all the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. There are so many people they will be like sand on the seashore.

After the heavenly sabbath is over Satan will be released to test those who have been born during the millennium. As incredible as it seems, there will be billions of people who hate living under the peaceful rule of the Lord Jesus Christ. Satan will incite them to rebel against the Lord, and history and prophecy will repeat themselves. Satan will again gather people from all nations to Jerusalem to make war on the Lord Jesus Christ. The result will be the same as it was one thousand years earlier, they will all be destroyed by fire.
Satan Will Be Defeated Again

(Rev 20:9-10 NCV)  And Satan's army marched across the earth and gathered around the camp of God's people and the city God loves. But fire came down from heaven and burned them up. And Satan, who tricked them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur with the beast and the false prophet. There they will be punished day and night forever and ever.

Satan will meet his final end in the lake of fire that was prepared for him and his angels. The Antichrist and the False Prophet have already been there being tormented for a thousand years and will remain there forever.

  The Last Judgment

(Rev 20:11-13 NCV)  Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it. Earth and sky ran away from him and disappeared. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. Then books were opened, and the book of life was opened. The dead were judged by what they had done, which was written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. Each person was judged by what he had done.

Now that the final rebellion of Satan is over, the judgment of all mankind will occur. Those who were raised at the first resurrection have already received their rewards and will not be affected by this judgment. They will be judges and spectators at this event.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

The Unsaved Dead Will Not Be Raised Until After The Millennium

(Rev 20:5 NCV)  (The others that were dead did not live again until the thousand years were ended.)

Revelation 20:11-13 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.

Matthew 25:41 KJV Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

This will be the time for the  judgment of the all of the wicked who have ever lived. The only people at this judgment who will join us in God's kingdom are those who were saved and died during the millennium. The majority of the people being judged here will be destined for the lake of fire because all of the saints who lived during the first six thousand years of history were already raised from the dead at the first resurrection (rapture) one thousand years earlier.

Death And Hell Are Cast Into The Lake Of Fire

After the last judgment there will be no more death. Everyone will have their new spiritual bodies.

(Rev 20:14-15 NCV)  And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Hell is the temporary abode of the dead until the time of the last judgment. After that, both hell and those who are lost, will be cast into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the eternal prison for Satan, his angels, the demons, and all of those humans who have rejected the call of God during their lifetimes. They will all be banished from the presence of the Lord forever.

While on the subject of death, hell, hades and the lake of fire this seems like an excellent place to put Josephus'  the Jewish historian, dissertation on hades and the condition of the dead until the time of judgment. Josephus was born about four years after the ascension of Christ and lived to see the destruction of Jerusalem as foretold by the prophets in 70 A.D. Josephus may have been a secret Christian. He never comes right out and preaches Christ, but he quotes from the new testament.

Flavius Josephus, b. AD 37, d.  after 93, (the date of Josephus' death is unknown but was probably after A.D. 100) Josephus was a Jewish historian whose works are invaluable sources for the history of the Jews under Roman domination. A Pharisee, originally named Joseph ben Matthias, he reluctantly joined the revolt against Rome in AD 66 and served as commander in Galilee until captured by the Romans in 67. Through the patronage of Vespasian, he later became a Roman citizen. Josephus's The Jewish War (75-79), a description of the tragic events of the revolt, is based to a large extent on his firsthand knowledge.  His Jewish Antiquities (93), although covering the history of the Jews from the Creation on, gives a particularly full account of the Maccabees and the dynasty of Herod. Josephus has been criticized for his subservience to the Romans, but he was a passionate defender of Jewish religion and culture, as shown in his apologia entitled Against Apion as well as in his historical works.

An Extract Out Of Josephus's Discourse To The Greeks Concerning Hades.

1. NOW as to Hades, wherein the souls of the of the good things they see, and rejoice in the righteous and unrighteous are detained, it is necessary to speak of it. Hades is a place in the world not regularly finished; a subterraneous region, wherein the light of this world does not shine; from which circumstance, that in this region the light does not shine, it cannot be but there must be in it perpetual darkness. This region is allotted as a place of custody for souls, ill which angels are appointed as guardians to them, who distribute to them temporary punishments, agreeable to every one's behavior and manners.

The Lake Of Fire Is As Yet Unused

2. In this region there is a certain place set apart, as a lake of unquenchable fire, whereinto we suppose no one hath hitherto been cast; but it is prepared for a day afore-determined by God, in which one righteous sentence shall deservedly be passed upon all men; when the unjust, and those that have been disobedient to God, and have given honor to such idols as have been the vain operations of the hands of men as to God himself, shall be adjudged to this everlasting punishment, as having been the causes of defilement; while the just shall obtain an incorruptible and never-fading kingdom. These are now indeed confined in Hades, but not in the same place wherein the unjust are confined.

An Archangel Guards The Entrance To Hades

3. For there is one descent into this region, at whose gate we believe there stands an archangel with an host; which gate when those pass through that are conducted down by the angels appointed over souls, they do not go the same way; but the just are guided to the right hand, and are led with hymns, sung by the angels appointed over that place, unto a region of light, in which the just have dwelt from the beginning of the world; not constrained by necessity, but ever enjoying the prospect of the good things they see, and rejoic in the expectation of those new enjoyments which will be peculiar to every one of them, and esteeming those things beyond what we have here; with whom there is no place of toil, no burning heat, no piercing cold, nor are any briers there; but the countenance of the and of the just, which they see, always smiles them, while they wait for that rest and eternal new life in heaven, which is to succeed this region. This place we call The Bosom of Abraham.

The Unjust In Hades

4. But as to the unjust, they are dragged by force to the left hand by the angels allotted for punishment, no longer going with a good-will, but as prisoners driven by violence; to whom are sent the angels appointed over them to reproach them and threaten them with their terrible looks, and to thrust them still downwards. Now those angels that are set over these souls drag them into the neighborhood of hell itself; who, when they are hard by it, continually hear the noise of it, and do not stand clear of the hot vapor itself; but when they have a near view of this spectacle, as of a terrible and exceeding great prospect of fire, they are struck with a fearful expectation of a future judgment, and in effect punished thereby: and not only so, but where they see the place [or choir] of the fathers and of the just, even hereby are they punished; for a chaos deep and large is fixed between them; insomuch that a just man that hath compassion upon them cannot be admitted, nor can one that is unjust, if he were bold enough to attempt it, pass over it.

The Resurrection

5. This is the discourse concerning Hades, wherein the souls of all men are confined until a proper season, which God hath determined, when he will make a resurrection of all men from the dead, not procuring a transmigration of souls from one body to another, but raising again those very bodies, which you Greeks, seeing to be dissolved, do not believe [their resurrection]. But learn not to disbelieve it; for while you believe that the soul is created, and yet is made immortal by God, according to the doctrine of Plato, and this in time, be not incredulous; but believe that God is able, when he hath raised to life that body which was made as a compound of the same elements, to make it immortal; for it must never be said of God, that he is able to do some things, and unable to do others. We have therefore believed that the body will be raised again; for although it be dissolved, it is not perished; for the earth receives its remains, and preserves them; and while they are like seed, and are mixed among the more fruitful soil, they flourish, and what is sown is indeed sown bare grain, but at the mighty sound of God the Creator, it will sprout up, and be raised in a clothed and glorious condition, though not before it has been dissolved, and mixed [with the earth]. So that we have not rashly believed the resurrection of the body; for although it be dissolved for a time on account of the original transgression, it exists still, and is cast into the earth as into a potter's furnace, in order to be formed again, not in order to rise again such as it was before, but in a state of purity, and so as never to he destroyed any more. And to every body shall its own soul be restored. And when it hath clothed itself with that body, it will not be subject to misery, but, being itself pure, it will continue with its pure body, and rejoice with it, with which it having walked righteously now in this world, and never having had it as a snare, it will receive it again with great gladness. But as for the unjust, they will receive their bodies not changed, not freed from diseases or distempers, nor made glorious, but with the same diseases wherein they died; and such as they were in their unbelief, the same shall they be when they shall be faithfully judged.

The Judgment

6. For all men, the just as well as the unjust, shall be brought before God the word: for to him hath the Father committed all judgment : and he, in order to fulfill the will of his Father, shall come as Judge, whom we call Christ. For Minos and Rhadamanthus are not the judges, as you Greeks do suppose, but he whom God and the Father hath glorified: CONCERNING WHOM WE HAVE ELSEWHERE GIVEN A MORE PARTICULAR ACCOUNT, FOR THE SAKE OF THOSE WHO SEEK AFTER TRUTH. This person, exercising the righteous judgment of the Father towards all men, hath prepared a just sentence for every one, according to his works; at whose judgment-seat when all men, and angels, and demons shall stand, they will send forth one voice, and say, JUST IS THY JUDGMENT; the rejoinder to which will bring a just sentence upon both parties, by giving justly to those that have done well an everlasting fruition; but allotting to the lovers of wicked works eternal punishment. To these belong the unquenchable fire, and that without end, and a certain fiery worm, never dying, and not destroying the body, but continuing its eruption out of the body with never-ceasing grief: neither will sleep give ease to these men, nor will the night afford them comfort; death will not free them from their punishment, nor will the interceding prayers of their kindred profit them; for the just are no longer seen by them, nor are they thought worthy of remembrance. But the just shall remember only their righteous actions, whereby they have attained the heavenly kingdom, in which there is no sleep, no sorrow, no corruption, no care, no night, no day measured by time, no sun driven in his course along the circle of heaven by necessity, and measuring out the bounds and conversions of the seasons, for the better illumination of the life of men; no moon decreasing and increasing, or introducing a variety of seasons, nor will she then moisten the earth; no burning sun, no Bear turning round [the pole], no Orion to rise, no wandering of innumerable stars. The earth will not then be difficult to be passed over, nor will it he hard to find out the court of paradise, nor will there be any fearful roaring of the sea, forbidding the passengers to walk on it; even that will be made easily passable to the just, though it will not be void of moisture. Heaven will not then be uninhabitable by men, and it will not be impossible to discover the way of ascending thither. The earth will not be uncultivated, nor require too much labor of men, but will bring forth its fruits of its own accord, and will be well adorned with them. There will be no more generations of wild beasts, nor will the substance of the rest of the animals shoot out any more; for it will not produce men, but the number of the righteous will continue, and never fail, together with righteous angels, and spirits [of God], and with his word, as a choir of righteous men and women that never grow old, and continue in an incorruptible state, singing hymns to God, who hath advanced them to that happiness, by the means of a regular institution of life; with whom the whole creation also will lift up a perpetual hymn from corruption, to incorruption, as glorified by a splendid and pure spirit. It will not then be restrained by a bond of necessity, but with a lively freedom shall offer up a voluntary hymn, and shall praise him that made them, together with the angels, and spirits, and men now freed from all bondage.

7. And now, if you Gentiles will be persuaded by these motives, and leave your vain imaginations about your pedigrees, and gaining of riches, and philosophy, and will not spend your time about subtleties of words, and thereby lead your minds into error, and if you will apply your ears to the hearing of the inspired prophets, the interpreters both of God and of his word, and will believe in God, you shall both be partakers of these things, and obtain the good things that are to come; you shall see the ascent unto the immense heaven plainly, and that kingdom which is there. For what God hath now concealed in silence [will be then made manifest,] what neither eye hath seen, nor ear hath heard, nor hath it entered into the heart of man, the things that God hath prepared for them that love him.

Josephus Urges Repentance

8. In whatsoever ways I shall find you, in them shall I judge you entirely: so cries the END of all things. And he who hath at first lived a virtuous lift, but towards the latter end falls into vice, these labors by him before endured shall be altogether vain and unprofitable, even as in a play, brought to an ill catastrophe. Whosoever shall have lived wickedly and luxuriously may repent; however, there will be need of much time to conquer an evil habit, and even after repentance his whole life must be guarded with great care and diligence, after the manner of a body, which, after it hath been a long time afflicted with a distemper, requires a stricter diet and method of living; for though it may be possible, perhaps, to break off the chain of our irregular affections at once, yet our amendment cannot be secured without the grace of God, the prayers of good men, the help of the brethren, and our own sincere repentance and constant care. It is a good thing not to sin at all; it is also good, having sinned, to repent; as it is best to have health always, but it is a good thing to recover from a distemper. To God be glory and dominion for ever and ever Amen.

Eternity Begins: A New Heaven And A New Earth

(Rev 21:1 NCV)  Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and there was no sea anymore.

Isaiah 65:17 "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

The New Jerusalem Comes Down From Heaven

(Rev 21:2 NCV)  And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It was prepared like a bride dressed for her husband.

2 Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

God will create a new heaven and a new earth, and the new Jerusalem will descend from the heavens.

God Dwells With His People

(Rev 21:3 NCV)  And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Now God's presence is with people, and he will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and will be their God.

Sadness, Pain And Death Are Gone

(Rev 21:4 NCV)  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain, because all the old ways are gone."

The Feast of the Tabernacles will be fulfilled again, the Lord and his people will dwell together forever. This time there will be no reoccurrence of sin after 1000 years. There will be joy for all eternity for the saints of God.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

According to Isaiah, Christ’s kingdom will continue to increase forever.  It appears that God will have other projects that he will begin after the human experiment is completed. The wonderful thing for us is that even if God does create new beings who have freedom of choice to do good or evil, we will have already passed our test and will be like the angels who ministered to us during our time on earth. We, the saved, who voluntarily served Christ and desired not to sin will be given our wish. Throughout all eternity we will have perfect spiritual bodies incapable of sin. We will be like those angels who chose not to follow Satan and we will be involved in God’s many new projects, for he is a God who never stops creating new things.

Luke 20:35-36 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection.

All Things Are Made New

(Rev 21:5 NCV)  The One who was sitting on the throne said, "Look! I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted."

Jesus Gives The Water Of Life Freely

(Rev 21:6 NCV)  The One on the throne said to me, "It is finished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give free water from the spring of the water of life to anyone who is thirsty.

Evildoers Will Reside In The Lake Of Fire: The Second Death

(Rev 21:7-8 NCV)  Those who win the victory will receive this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. But cowards, those who refuse to believe, who do evil things, who kill, who sin sexually, who do evil magic, who worship idols, and who tell lies--all these will have a place in the lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Revelation 21:7-8 KJV He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Once again we see that those who practice sorcery, evil magic and sexual sin will have no part in God’s kingdom. You may have noticed that this theme has been highlighted throughout this entire study of angels. The reason is because basically this is what life is all about for each and every one of us, to find the truth and stay faithful to it.

Buy The Truth And Sell It Not

(Prov 23:23 NKJV)  Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

(Prov 4:7-8 NCV)  Wisdom is the most important thing; so get wisdom. If it costs everything you have, get understanding. Treasure wisdom, and it will make you great; hold on to it, and it will bring you honor.

(Prov 16:16 NCV)  It is better to get wisdom than gold, and to choose understanding rather than silver!

In some ways life is similar to a computer video game, except that you can’t restart the game when your character dies. There is only one chance in the game of life, one chance to find the truth and reject lies and evil. That is the theme of this entire work, the superiority of The Lord Jesus Christ and his Angels as compared to Satan and his rebels. If you make the wrong choice and die before you rectify it, you can’t reboot and start over as in a role playing game. Make the right choice today and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and savior before it is too late. Even if my calculation are wrong and Christ does not return for another 70,000 years, that won’t do you any good. Christ comes for you and I the moment we die.

An Angel Shows John The Bride Of The Lamb

(Rev 21:9-11 NCV)  Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last troubles came to me, saying, "Come with me, and I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And the angel carried me away by the Spirit to a very large and high mountain. He showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It was shining with the glory of God and was bright like a very expensive jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.

A Great City Containing many Mansions Will House The Bride Of Christ

(Rev 21:12-21 NCV)  The city had a great high wall with twelve gates with twelve angels at the gates, and on each gate was written the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west. The walls of the city were built on twelve foundation stones, and on the stones were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod made of gold to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. The city was built in a square, and its length was equal to its width. The angel measured the city with the rod. The city was twelve thousand stadia long, twelve thousand stadia wide, and twelve thousand stadia high. The angel also measured the wall. It was one hundred forty-four cubits high, by human measurements, which the angel was using. The wall was made of jasper, and the city was made of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundation stones of the city walls were decorated with every kind of jewel. The first foundation was jasper, the second was sapphire, the third was chalcedony, the fourth was emerald, the fifth was onyx, the sixth was carnelian, the seventh was chrysolite, the eighth was beryl, the ninth was topaz, the tenth was chrysoprase, the eleventh was jacinth, and the twelfth was amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate having been made from a single pearl. And the street of the city was made of pure gold as clear as glass.

God The Father And Christ Are The Temple And The Light For The City

(Rev 21:22-25 NCV)  I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the city's temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God is its light, and the Lamb is the city's lamp. By its light the people of the world will walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. The city's gates will never be shut on any day, because there is no night there.

Nothing Unclean Will Ever Enter It

(Rev 21:26-27 NCV)  The glory and the honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing unclean and no one who does shameful things or tells lies will ever go into it. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will enter the city.

The River Of Life Flows Through It From The Throne Of God

(Rev 22:1 NCV)  Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life. It was shining like crystal and was flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

The Tree Of Life And The Throne Of God Are There Also

(Rev 22:2-3 NCV)  down the middle of the street of the city. The tree of life was on each side of the river. It produces fruit twelve times a year, once each month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of all the nations. Nothing that God judges guilty will be in that city. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and God's servants will worship him.

Unlike Antichrist’s Mark, It will Be A Glory To have Gods Name Upon Us

(Rev 22:4 NCV)  They will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads.

God Will Be Our Light

(Rev 22:5 NCV)  There will never be night again. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light. And they will rule as kings forever and ever.

(Zec 14:6-7 NCV)  On that day there will be no light, cold, or frost. There will be no other day like it, and the LORD knows when it will come. There will be no day or night; even at evening it will still be light.

The Things Shown To John Must Shortly come To Pass

(Rev 22:6 NCV)  The angel said to me, "These words can be trusted and are true." The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon.

Even though it has been nearly 2000 years since Jesus Gave this prophecy to John, that is still a short time on God’s calendar, for a day is to the Lord as a thousand years. Two thousand years is only two days to the Lord.

(Psa 90:4 NIV)  For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

(2 Pet 3:8 NIV)  But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Christ Is Coming Soon

(Rev 22:7 NCV)  "Listen! I am coming soon! Happy is the one who obeys the words of prophecy in this book."

The Angel Tells John To Worship Only God

(Rev 22:8 NCV)  I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I bowed down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed these things to me.

(Rev 22:9 NCV)  But the angel said to me, "Do not worship me! I am a servant like you, your brothers the prophets, and all those who obey the words in this book. Worship God!"

The Book Of Revelation Is Not To Be Kept Secret, It is Available To All Who Wish To Read It

(Rev 22:10 NCV)  Then the angel told me, "Do not keep secret the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near for all this to happen.

Let The People Do As They Desire

(Rev 22:11 NCV)  Let whoever is doing evil continue to do evil. Let whoever is unclean continue to be unclean. Let whoever is doing right continue to do right. Let whoever is holy continue to be holy."

His Reward Is With Him

(Rev 22:12 NCV)  "Listen! I am coming soon! I will bring my reward with me, and I will repay each one of you for what you have done.

Jesus Is The First And The Last

(Rev 22:13 NCV)  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Those Who Washed Their Robes In The Blood Of The Lamb Will Eat From The Tree Of Life

(Rev 22:14 NCV)  "Happy are those who wash their robes so that they will receive the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

Evildoers Are Not Allowed In The New Jerusalem

(Rev 22:15 NCV)  Outside the city are the evil people, those who do evil magic, who sin sexually, who murder, who worship idols, and who love lies and tell lies.

The Message Of Revelation Is For The Churches

(Rev 22:16 NCV)  "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to tell you these things for the churches. I am the descendant from the family of David, and I am the bright morning star."

Whoever Is Thirsty May Come And Receive The Free Gift Of The Water Of Life

(Rev 22:17 NCV)  The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Let the one who hears this say, "Come!" Let whoever is thirsty come; whoever wishes may have the water of life as a free gift.

A Warning To Those Who Would Mistranslate Or Intentionally Alter The Book Of Revelation

(Rev 22:18-19 NCV)  I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to these words, God will add to that person the disasters written about in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away that one's share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are written about in this book.

Many theologians down through the centuries wanted to remove the book of Revelation from the bible because they could not understand it. Due to the warning included in it though they refrained from removing it.

(Rev 22:20-21 NCV)  Jesus, the One who says these things are true, says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Those who are trusting in Jesus Christ for their salvation can look forward to the blessed hope of his appearing, and escape the wrath of God when it is poured out upon the world.

Titus 2:13 While we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Luke 21:34-36 "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

You Too Can Share In The Good Things That God Has Planned For The Future.

Romans 10:9-11 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

Amen And Amen, Come Lord Jesus.
